Story ideas?

I am a reporter currently living in Colorado but I have some family that lives in southern New Mexico. I have always been interested in the area and I was wondering if there are any stories that you think are under covered/not covered at all in the area? I know Project Jupiter and crime have been making the headlines lately but are there any stories that nobody has covered or may need some investigating? I'm mostly just curious but you never know. Thank you!
