Semi Recent Hate of South Asians?

South Asia is a huge diaspora with many different cultures and values but if we compare them towards east Asians, Europeans and other People, we can roughly group them together.

Every Race/Country/etc. Probably has its ups and downs.

Recently however it seems as that there is a negative notion from everyone against South Asians and mostly Indians. Wether it be blatant racism or generalization or even ignorance.

However most of the South Asians I have heard of in the west are some of the most Intelligent and Bright people I have encountered. Even everyday people you meet on the street seem very educated and critical thinking.

There is also a rumor or stats that Indians are assumed to be the richest, most educated foreign group in the US.

They are also very hospitable and friendly.

There are negatives too, a lot are very conservative, cast, Hardcore Hindu etc. but for the sake of Discussion we let that be open;

Which leads me to believe, how do you as a Hapa feel for Indians, does the buzz Online change your view of them, do you have any Indian friends, Family or have you ever been to India before.

This is not racism but I have always felt that White Hapas are the least "connected" to Indians.
