I think I’m turning into a snail/slug person. Esophageal-gastric junction CA

So lately my saliva and bile/stomach contents (I have a g tube) have been more mucus than watery. I’m constantly having to spit bc it’s too thick to swallow, but either way, it comes back immediately. If I have to drain my g tube, the same thing happens, the output is much more mucus than it had been previously. It does not matter how much water I drink.

I’m in the first couple weeks of post chemo/post radiation, so I know those can still cause symptoms. Has anyone else had something similar? Do i just need to wait it out? I dislike it so much.
