60 yo oak tree lifting sidewalk, city says I have 2 months to fix it

Just got the letter from the city today.

Would it be prudent to put a lot of money into fixing the walk without removing the tree and offending roots? I know nothing about sidewalk repair, maybe there is a way to do it without removing the tree.

Don't really want to remove the tree, it's been here longer than me, and I'm assuming removal will cost a small fortune.

If anyone here can recommend a sidewalk repair company, I'd appreciate it!
