Why does Character AI still feel addictive despite the filters?
This is something I find interesting.
People complain about Character AI constantly: filters, short replies, memory problems, restrictions, repetitive behavior.
And yet a lot of people still go back to it.
Why?
Is it the character library?
The reply style?
The speed?
The way the bots initiate emotional responses?
The nostalgia?
I’ve tried other platforms that are technically more free, but sometimes they don’t have the same “just one more message” feeling.
