Hey guys, I have a question regarding Dr. Doom.

You see once I got into an argument with the Robert Downey JR being the Dr. Doom in the MCU, and the other person kept saying that Tony Stark is the main guy behind Dr. Doom guy in the marvel comics while I always believed that Tony Stark is one of the variants of Dr. Doom where Stark became Dr. Doom. Now I haven't read any comics to know the truth and would like to know whether this is true.
