Experienced Saltwater Angler seeking Freshwater Tackle Advice

I love fishing and am a very experienced inshore saltwater angler that knows how to find and catch Speckled Trout, Striped Bass, Flounder, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, etc. As a kid I did a little freshwater fishing, and I’ve been fishing as an adult in rivers for Small Mouth Bass, but I have very little experience fishing in lakes.

Next week I am taking my family camping in Virginia on a lake that is stocked with Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, and Bluegill, and I really want to put my young kids on some fish. I have freshwater rods and line, but I really don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to bait, lures, sinkers, bobbers, and pretty much freshwater tackle in general.

Can any of my freshwater brothers help me out with recommendations on what to buy and use in terms of hooks (and sizes), baits, lures, etc. in hopes of catching Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, and Bluegills?
