Are YouTube/Google ads worth it for Kickstarters?

Anyone got any experience with positive results on using YouTube and Google search ads for their Kickstarter?

I saw the Neon Odyssey ads on YouTube loads, but I’d assume with how many backers they had and how much they raised, they probably had the budget to test and be on there with a positive return.

- Was it mainly YouTube ads or Search you used?

- Any tips for both channels?

- What budget would you recommend as something to test for it to be worth while from experience

- any tutorials on how to set up? GA4 seems to have a lot of discrepancy’s in reporting when I use it, so not sure I trust the key event conversion from GA4 to Google AdWords.
