chain replacement at 540 miles

I noticed this morning when I checked my chain for the first time with my chain checker tool that it was at .5 and I was sort of surprised to see that at 540 miles. So I ran over to the dealer which luckily is here in town and they agreed that the chain was worn and needed a replacement. I've had the bike exactly 12 months now and have 540 on it. I put that out here so that newbies to the bike will understand that they do have to check their chain relatively frequently if they're gonna be riding it a lot. if you let it go too long you will actually damage your cassette and that's a lot more expensive. The dealer replaced it while I waited it only took about 25 minutes. I could've done it myself but I like to give them a little bit of money. The chain checking tool is super cheap you can buy them on Amazon for under $20 or even under 10 sometimes. There's lots of videos on how to check the chain it's brain dead easy.
