What’s a hygiene rule you follow that other people think is unnecessary?

I’ve noticed something interesting when it comes to hygiene… everyone has their own standards, and what feels normal to one person can feel like overkill to someone else.

For example, some people change pillowcases twice a week, and others do it once a week or even longer. Some people double shampoo every wash, others only do it when they feel buildup. Some swear by tongue scraping, while others don’t see the point at all.

Honestly, none of it is really one right way it’s just what works for your body and comfort level.

So I’m curious:

• What’s a hygiene habit you stick to that other people say is unnecessary?

• What’s something you do that people have actually questioned you about?

• Do you think people are generally too relaxed or too strict with hygiene?

• What’s one hygiene thing you changed your mind about over time?

I feel like hygiene is one of those things where everyone thinks they’re normal… Until they talk to someone else

Would love to hear your take on it.
