Luni's Whip — Concept

Weapon Type: Energy Whip (not the standard gauntlets of a Ruby)

Symbolism (three points):

1. Control: The whip is a long-range restraining weapon, representing Luni's preference to observe, assess, and dominate from a distance — unlike other Rubies who rush into close combat.

2. Distance: The whip keeps a safe distance, mirroring her cold expression and reticence — she doesn't let people get close easily, nor does she easily approach others.

3. Precision, not brute force: The whip requires skill, reflecting her ability to see through lies at a glance. She wins not by strength, but by intelligence.

Personality Reflection:

· She is "the least Ruby-like Ruby" — others use gauntlets (impulsive, passionate, close-range), while she uses a whip (calm, restrained, long-range).

· The whip's weakness: lack of close-range defense — hinting at her emotional vulnerability. She can see through enemies, but doesn't know how to meet Sarah's gaze.

To be precise: The whip is Luni's tool for controlling the world, keeping her distance, and hiding her heart. Every strike she makes says, "Stay away from me" — but her eyes are looking at the Sapphire.

Why Luni uses a whip:

· Not the standard gear: Ruby’s standard weapon is gauntlets (impulsive, close-range, brute force). She refuses to be a typical ruby.

· Symbol of control: A whip is a long-range weapon, fitting her calm, observant nature and her habit of commanding the situation from a distance.

· Keeping distance: The whip creates space, matching her aloof expression and quiet demeanor — she doesn’t let people get close.

· Precision over brute force: Using a whip requires skill, reflecting her ability to see through lies at a glance.

· Emotional reflection: The whip lacks close-range defense, hinting at her emotional vulnerability — she can see through enemies from afar, but doesn’t know how to meet Sarah’s gaze.

She doesn’t use gauntlets because she refuses to be a ruby who just acts on impulse. She chose the whip because she’s used to staying in control, keeping her distance, and winning with her mind.
