Second time moms, is a bassinet stroller worth it?

I am going to be a second time mom in a few months. I never had a bassinet stroller for my first and baby-wore all the time. Now that I am running around after my 4 year old I am wondering if I will need a stroller bassinet.

For context, we walk to/from school every day. I can see myself baby wearing the newborn without issue - except that I am not sure if it will help or hinder in keeping up with my 4 year old... What if I end up needing to put the baby down somewhere? Any advice from second/third time moms?
