Swapping courses?

Im currently applying for staffordshire university after a year of hell in South Wales university - and I just realised that the Games Art course isnt for me because I hate 3d with a burning passion! But I found out they have a concept art for films and games course. I havent gotten accepted or anything yet but I do have a placement for an interview ready. Am I able by any chance if I can ring the administrators in staffs and request a course swap? Or is it too late?
