Is taking a ₹50 lakh loan for MBBS worth it if I'm likely to score around 500-550+ in NEET?

I'm a General category student preparing for NEET and currently scoring around 500-550+ in mocks.

Realistically, I may not get a government MBBS seat, so I've been looking at semi-government/private colleges where the total MBBS cost is around ₹40-60 lakh.

My family isn't in a position to pay the entire amount upfront, so I've been considering taking an SBI education loan (or a similar MBBS loan) of around ₹50 lakh.

What I'm trying to understand is whether this is a financially sensible decision.

My thinking is:

Complete MBBS from a decent semi-government/private college.

Prepare seriously for NEET PG.

Hopefully get a good PG seat/rank.

Start earning and gradually repay the loan.

But I'm also worried that I might be underestimating how difficult repayment actually is.

For people who have taken large education loans for MBBS, or know someone who has:

Was taking a ₹40-60 lakh loan worth it?

How difficult is repayment after MBBS?

Does the situation become much more manageable after PG/residency?

Looking back, would you make the same decision again?

If you were in my position (500-550+ marks, General category), would you choose a semi-government/private MBBS seat with a loan or take another drop?

I'd appreciate honest opinions, especially from doctors, MBBS students, PG residents, or anyone who has firsthand experience with education loans.
