I'm making a modern spiritual successor to the 90s classic RTS games Fragile Allegiance and K240

Game

Greetings, Commanders.

For the past few years, I've been solo-developing Shattered Allegiance, a 4x real-time strategy game.

At its core, it's a game about ruthless corporate expansion in deep space. You aren't just commanding an army; you're managing complex, interconnected colonies built directly onto procedurally generated asteroids.

Here is a look at what I'm building and the systems currently in place:

Base Building & Life Support: It takes a lot to keep people alive in a vacuum. You don't just mine ore; you must build an intricate web of power grids and pipelines to supply air, water, and food to your workforce. If life support fails, your colony dies.

Automated Logistics: No more babysitting supply ships. Establish automated trade routes, and your freighters will autonomously ferry essential resources across your empire so you can focus on grand strategy.

Tactical Fleet Combat: Group ships into cohesive squadrons. Fleets automatically throttle speed to stay together, assume wedge formations, and execute synchronized jumps to hit targets as a unified strike force.

Interplanetary Missiles: Production queues don't charge you until construction actually begins. Build up an arsenal, load your silos, and physically launch multi-stage nuclear missiles out of the gravity well, watching them travel in real-time across the sector map while dodging anti-missile defenses.

I've also just completed a major UI overhaul to ensure all this data—like mineral output and power grid levels—is displayed directly on the tactical view, so you don't have to menu-dive to run your empire.

I'm posting regular technical updates, devlogs, and mockups over on my site. If deep economic management mixed with high-stakes tactical combat sounds like your kind of RTS, I'd love for you to check it out!
