Moon Dong-eun - The Glory: A Korean drama series about a young girl, Dong-eun, who drops out of high school due to relentless bullying (the first episode details some of the worst incidents, which includes her bullies burning her body with a curling iron), and any attempt she made to report the bullying was either dismissed or retaliated against.

She tells her bullies that she will see them again someday, and begins her revenge plan 18 years in the making.

The first few episodes are dedicated to seeing her journey to get where she needs to be, but once she's there, she rather brazenly makes herself known to her old bullies, and makes no attempt to hide that she has plans in motion to destroy all of them.

Unlike most examples of this story, as the revenge scheme goes on, she admits she's having a lot of fun seeing her tormentors in a static of shock and panic, and she makes several allies whose lives are actively improved due to them joining her in her revenge scheme.

Lloyd and Kratos - Tales of Symphonia: One of Lloyd's major emotional arcs is his mothers death. At a certain point in the story, he and Kratos (who Lloyd doesn't know is his father) manage to track down her killer, Kvar, a half-elf who is racist as hell and believes that she was an "inferior being".

The battle is treated as cathartic, emotionally fulfilling, and satisfying, with Kratos even delivering the line "Feel the pain of those inferior beings as you burn in Hell!"
