Magic 8 pro global battery is bad so far

So I used the 7 pro EU version for a while. Loved everything about the phone but the battery.

So I saw the 8 pro global had much bigger battery so got it.

"Yay my dream phone. Everything I love about honor but with good battery"

Except it isn't. I'm only on day three or so of using. But having taken it off charge at 100% I have spent around 15 mins on Snapchat and 10 mins on apple music through the phone speakers. Then around 3 mins of we browsing and I'm down to 90%. This is on WiFi with no Bluetooth on. Brightness low as I'm indoors.

Is it calibrating is that all this is?

It's just disappointing as my iphone 17 pro doesn't drain this fast. Neither does my s25 ultra. This is as bad as my pixel or my Xiaomi phones in terms of drain.

Any advice? Is it normal?
