Theory: Dogcopter is Rose Quartz!

(read this post in a ronaldo voice for the full immersion)

You may think that Dogcopter is just a silly dog that shoots missiles out of his butt. But there are people who believe in something greater. That Dogcopter isn't just a silly side character, but how Steven perceives him is directly related to how he perceives Rose and many times he's tied to Rose.

I think that he way that Dogcopter, when inside **Steven's Dreams** is literally just Rose talking to Steven, however, she is warped into Dogcopter because of Steven's childish mind. This may seem absurd, but read the whole post, and you'll understand why this might make sense.

Now first, Dogcopter appears in four episodes of the main show:

• Lion 2: The Movie

• Lion 3: Straight to Video

• Chille Tid

• Kiki's Pizza Delivery Service

What do these episodes have in common? Three, with the exception of the 4th one, have either a direct Rose appearance (Chille Tid, Lion 3) or are related to Rose (Lion 2).

Also, Chille Tid and Kiki's Pizza Delivery Service are the first episodes where Steven invades someone's mind (through their dreams), which is most likely a Diamond exclusive power, the reasoning being:

•When Steven dreams in Jungle Moon, he has a dream that is straight up just a Rose Quartz memory, meaning he probably accidentally invaded his own mother's mind through his gem (?) but the memory was muffled by Connie's mind as they were fused into Stevonnie.

•During Garnet's marriage, Yellow and Blue Diamond are seen communicating in their own thoughts. Not only are they aware of this plane of existance, but also try to harm Steven in this dimension after they learn of his whereabouts. It seems like a dimension you can only see when you are unconscious, but those with Diamond powers can sense movement, actions and communicate through it.

•White Diamond SEEMINGLY invades Steven's dream in the start of the finale episode, as we see her eyes open right after Steven gets dizzy as not just Blue Diamond's voice, but some lower volume, reverbed voice tells him: "Why do you always do this, Pink?"

Given this evidence, I believe Steven's dream invading abilities are directly a reference to Pink Diamond, and the show leaves it implicit that only Diamonds have this power.

Also, it is noted that Lion 2 is a Rose episode because we find out about her chamber with the armor and stuff. We just didn't know it was a Rose episode yet.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Steven makes a version of dogcopter in S01E19 Rose's Room?

But this is just stage one of the theory. What got me to write this is Dogcopter's dialogue in Lion 3:

"Don't focus so much on talent, Steven. Making art is all about communication. Every choice you made is a statement.

Don't worry about labels, or conforming to a standard. Just be true to yourself, and people will appreciate it - your honesty.

*And take a deep breath.* "

Does this not seem a little bit too mature for Steven's mind to formulate? Especially given the context of season 1, where Steven was just a goofball which didn't even know what was happening.

The "don't worry about labels and conforming to a standard" part can very well be translated to Rose saying thst Steven doesn't need to be like her, that she's happy about him being himself and that's why she decided to become part of him. Which is exactly what she says on the tape, that is watched just a few minutes after this dream.

Also, why did Dogcopter tell Steven to take a deep breath, RIGHT BEFORE Lion hugged Steven into his mane (which, if you aren't reminded, Steven can't breathe in), all of these facts together can't be a coincidence. I think that Dogcopter deliberately knows what Lion is trying to do because he's the manifestation of Rose inside Steven's mind.

So, in conclusion, due to all facts stated previously, I think that Dogcopter either is how Rose manifests inside Steven's mind, or deeply connected to Rose and certainly used as an analogy.

Maybe that's not true. There's an equal chance Dogcopter is just a Snake Person (also known as 'sneeple') that disturbs and invades Steven's mind.
