Sheffield Green Party Central Ward Cllrs and central MP

Does anyone know why the central ward Cllrs (who ironically are Green Party) and the MP for central aren't heavily lobbying for electrification of the Midland Mainline from Sheffield?

You never hear anything from them only for them to come out at election time saying what they've done all year please vote for me

The councillors for central ward and the MP should be heavily lobbying for electrification and car free city centre ASAP
