How do you deal with someone that makes everything about her

It feels like I always end up with people that think every conversation is a hint. Worst part, seems like thats how they talk. How do you deal with those people, or rather find someone who you can actually talk about a movie without it having any importance or hidden meaning or hints. I'm so tired.
