Does anyone else kind of hope Madrid win the next UCL?

I’m a big big Barca fan, but I’ve been thinking about something recently, I’ve watched a lot recently and I’ve thought about something recently:

If Barça aren’t going to win the Champions League, I honestly think I’d rather see Madrid win it than PSG.

My reasoning is simple: Madrid winning another UCL barely changes anything. They already have a ridiculous number of them and everyone already considers them the kings of the competition.

PSG, on the other hand, are just getting started. If they win another one, suddenly you’re talking about the possibility of a dynasty, it would be 3x UCL like prime Madrid.

Also, let’s be honest, our chances of winning every single year are relatively low. There are a lot of elite clubs. If Barça can’t win it, I’d rather have Madrid add trophy #16 or #17 than watch PSG start stacking titles and creating a new European superpower.

Madrid winning another one feels less damaging to Barça’s legacy than PSG becoming the next dominant force in Europe.

Anyone else agree with me?
