SPD allows "clicking out" one-sided only inwards
Hello and sorry for the maybe dumb question I was not able to figure out myself😅
I am into cycling only since a few month and just bout my first non-platform shoes with SPD cleats - the Shimano SH-XC302. I mounted the cleats already considering X/Y Offset as well as tilt. My feet are significantly rotated outside in their Natural Position forming a noticable "V" ... Not sure If I rotated the cleats enough - I Put Focus on Offset and doing tilt at least symmetric in L/R.
Today I tried it out in my Shimano Combi Pedals (having not touched the pedal-sided tuning) - clicking in worked out nicely L/R, pulling upwards without slipping out worked great ... also clicking out on the left by rotating my left heel to the outside worked out perfect🙂
But then: No Chance to geht my right foot out by rotating my right heel to the outside😭 I tried like a maniac towards all direction to figure out it is similarly easy to rotate my right heel to the inside to get out😅
Any ideas what I did wrong? How dangerous is it to drive like this till I find a solution?
Thanks!
