June 4 vs June 18

:CaptainMickey: TRIP PLANNING

Hi! I posted on here a couple days ago about seeing the fantasy from my hotel in Nassau and it got me all kind of envious to the point where I want to be on that ship this time next year!

Let me explain…. My kids are school age and my school district gets out early in the season (May 31 for this year and June 4 for next year) so we came on vacation hoping to beat the crowds. And I feel like we succeeded in Nassau! And now we want to do the same thing on a Disney cruise next year! The itineraries we are interested in are on the fantasy leaving either June 4 or June 18. To make our embarkation we’d have to take our kids out of school a day or two early which is fine because they don’t do anything the last week anyway. But my question is do you think there will be a difference in the crowds? There’s a bit of a price difference but I’m more worried about crowds (we had our first DCL cruise this past spring break on the treasure and it was really really crowded and overwhelming and I DONT want to repeat that mistake again).

So tl;dr: do we think there’s going to be a difference in crowds on the fantasy June 4 vs June 18 next year? Enough of a difference to pull my kids out of school early?
