Eye Shadow and Product Recommendations

I have an tan, olive complexion, and up until now have played it safe when it comes to make up. However, I want to experiment with more colors, products, etc. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, specifically for eyeshadow and lip combo colors or products.
