Pixel 9 Pro won't pair with Corsair Virtuoso XT Bluetooth headset
I'm hoping someone has run into this before.
Devices:
- Google Pixel 9 Pro
- Corsair Virtuoso XT
These devices used to pair and work together without any issues. At some point (possibly after a firmware update on either the phone or headset, though I'm not certain), the connection stopped working.
Initially, I was getting some sort of generic Bluetooth error message when attempting to pair. Unfortunately, this happened a while ago and I don't remember the exact wording.
Since then, I've tried the usual troubleshooting steps:
- Forgot the headset from Bluetooth settings
- Rebooted the phone
- Power-cycled/reset the headset
- Cleared Bluetooth cache/storage on the phone
- Re-attempted pairing multiple times
Now I'm in an even stranger state.
When I open the Bluetooth pairing screen on my Pixel 9 Pro and put the Virtuoso XT into Bluetooth pairing mode, I see "CORSAIR VIRTUOSO XT Bluetooth" appear under Available Devices.
When I tap it:
- The phone shows "Pairing..."
- After a few seconds, the device disappears from the list
- It then reappears under Available Devices as if nothing happened
- No pairing request, PIN prompt, error message, or successful connection ever appears
It's basically acting like the pairing attempt never happened.
Has anyone experienced this with the Virtuoso XT, Pixel phones, or Android Bluetooth in general? Any ideas for additional troubleshooting steps?
Thanks!
