Will i like Ender Lilies if i didn't like Hollow Knight?

Tried Hollow Knight a couple of times, dropped most of the times but I actually managed to beat it (the most basic ending) in my most recent attempt, but I couldn't push myself through the real ending so I just gave up. Although I liked the combat and some bosses, the exploration aspect leaning heavily on backtracking and getting lost didn't catch me and made me not like the game that much.

Ender Lilies caught my eye because of the cool premise, setting, art style and the music, but I don't know if I'll have a complicated relationship with it as I did with hollow knight since both are metroidvanias. Is this one different enough that there's a chance I'll like it more?

FYI, excluding hollow knight, I've only played Silksong and Nine Sols and i really liked both games (curious enough, I actually loved Silksong despite disliking hollow knight), so I'm not that experienced with the genre.
