Kasamok aning people na di kabalo mag simple fact-checking oi basta naa ray ma ingon. Ngano sala naman ni sa AdDU ron?

**For context:** Ateneo de Davao started a donation drive for their alumni, Rene. The university stepped up to help organize it because many were asking them to take the lead instead. Pero all proceeds will still go directly to the family. And yes, this has the family's full consent and blessing.

Now, ang comments puro directed at the wrong institution. Puro blame sa AdDU bc sila raw pumatay kay Rene, dapat sila raw managot, dapat bigyan daw ng pangkabuhayan showcase, etc. **Ateneo de Davao and Ateneo de Manila operate under different administrations.** They are independent institutions with their own separate funds, even though they share the 'Ateneo' name. AdDU is Rene's alma mater, so natural lang na they would offer full support sa family. They've been nothing but supportive kay Rene from his student athlete days pa. This donation drive has the family's consent na rin naman and all proceeds will still be given to the family. Besides, donating is completely optional so they're not really forcing anyone to contribute. Instead of being thankful that they're taking initiative to help the family, ginagawa pa tuloy venue for bashing. Please stop making comments like this. Na di-discourage tuloy ang iba. Rene's family deserves all the help they can get and these comments are not helping.

Pet peeve! AdDU is not AdMU
