HoldMeStill – open-source ESP32 selfbondage lock controller

Engage the MagBound Lock and the one-time password flashes onto your screen exactly once before it's gone forever. Hand it to a partner or a game server stashed out of reach. Whoever holds the password now holds you. You're not going anywhere until the timer runs out – or until you win seconds back through games.

Built-in games include Wordle, 2048, a video watching game (my favourite!), and a Claude-graded Proof of Work – hand in your maths homework or a thesis chapter, get seconds back if it's good enough. Lose if it isn't.

ESP32 + Raspberry Pi. Free and open-source – build whatever you want on top, write your own pluggable games. Hardware list, schematics, and a plugin guide are in the repo.
