2011 Durango Crew 3.7 - Loud revving, pop sound by spark plugs.

Just did the very laborious task of changing the spark plugs on my Durango. I was only thinking it was a singular spark plug as I had received a misfire on cylinder 5 and thought that could be the reason. Long story short, I only replaced cylinder 5. Put it back together and when it started up , it seemed as though I had my foot on the gas flooring it and then I heard a pop noise.

Took everything apart and inspected the rest of the spark plugs. They were all bad. My question is, was the revving and popping a result of the bad spark plugs or is there somewhere else I should be looking at?

I didn't keep the car running long enough to get a code as the sound was too loud and didn't seem safe.

As far as I know, I reconnected all connections, tightened all bolts and made sure the spark plug was snug.
