What should I do after the main story?

I'm returning to the game after a long break, haven't really played any of the title updates, and I'm kind of lost as to how I should progress. I finished the game and beat some event quests, sitting at HR 130. My gunlance is the G. Lawful Bors and I'm using the Ebony Odogaran armor set for burst. I don't know what I should try to hunt, and a lot of what I'm going up against seems to be kicking my butt lol.
