I stopped reaching for my physical deck and I'm not sure how I feel about it
I've had my Rider-Waite for years. but somewhere in the last few months I just... stopped using it. I'd pull my phone out instead.
I built a tarot app for myself basically. wanted something that felt close to the real thing — clean, no clutter, just the card and the meaning. no fifteen buttons on screen, no gamification, nothing that makes it feel like a slot machine.
it's become my morning thing. card of the day, read the interpretation, sit with it for a few minutes. that's it.
still feels a little weird to prefer the screen over the physical cards though. anyone else gone through this or am I the only one slowly going digital?
(the app is on android open testing if anyone's curious)
