How do I get in to football?

Hello. I’m 24F and I’d really like to learn more about football.

I wasn’t allowed to watch ‘men’ sports growing up because I’m a girl and my dad doesn’t really watch it, but I really want to get in to it now.

I’ve been watching World Cup and I love it. I think it’s so cool!! It seems like the perfect time to get in to football.

Please explain it to me like I’m dumb.

How do clubs work and what does it mean? Where can I watch it? And how do you know which games are on etc?

Sorry I am slow lol.
