Guys I need advice

Working on my Sportster project and I’ve finally reached everyone’s favourite part — the wiring.

At this stage, I’m not sure whether I’ll pay someone to do it or tackle it myself. Every person I’ve reached out to either doesn’t want to take on the job or is unwilling to give me even a rough idea of what it would cost.

I’m fortunate that my brother is an auto electrician, although he doesn’t know much about bikes specifically. Because of that, I’m considering wiring it myself with his help, but I’ll admit I’m a bit nervous about the whole process.

Has anyone here wired their own bike before? How difficult did you find it?

The plan is to convert the ignition to single-fire with a turn key switch , and wire up the headlight, indicators, brake light, and speedo. Any advice, tips, or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
