Why is aram so toxic?

So my friend i play with normally has been hating normal games recently and got me to try aram and over the past couple games i have realised people are genuinely more toxic in aram than normal games.... I thought aram was the chillout mode so why is the enemy team being toxic most games and every game seems to be a hostage like its super unfun
