Starting my first full time job on Monday, am I on a path to financial success?
I just graduated from college and have accepted a role at a late stage startup fintech company ( 200 - 300 employees ) in a big city. I am an associate account executive, and hope to be a full time account executuve within 6-12 mos. I have worry a lot about the path that I’m on, especially being surrounded by people In big corporate , banking , consulting etc. I just want to be financially successful long term, and build many skills. I majored in finance at a big ten school and always thought I wanted to do wealth management, but ended up pivoting to fintech because it was a job that began soon after college, and I enjoy finance + startups + people, but I’ve never done sales before and the quota pressure is scaring me about the future. Looking for any advice on my situation, both short and long term.
