Advice want to be surrogate for my sister

Hi, I'm 25 and interested in being a surrogate for my sister, but I'm not very familiar with how surrogacy works or what the requirements are.

I've never had a child, but I have been pregnant before and chose to have an abortion. I've read that many surrogacy programs require a surrogate to have already given birth to at least one child. Would that automatically disqualify me from being my sister's surrogate?

I was also wondering whether it would be possible to use my egg and just do it through artificial insemination, or if there are other options available that I should consider.
