Stolen Identity, Being Shipped Odd Packages
Hello!
I personally am not a WN user, but my parents have recently been receiving random packages to their home (another state where I don’t live) with stuff that seems to be from WN. For context, this has been happening for over a month and I haven’t been able to track down where the packages were coming from. When one finally had a seller name in the notes, I reached out to her on Facebook to see what was going on. She was more than kind in sending me the listing information and it showed that someone with my name and (edit: they didn’t use my Facebook profile image, I just saw the bubble of the messenger app and thought it was a profile image) was buying all sorts of things. (Edit: the username went along the lines of “firstnamefirstthreelettersoflastname#####) the “#” being 5 random numbers) The bizarre part is that I can’t find charges on my credit card or debit, and these packages are being shipped to -not my home- but my parent’s house. Taking a look on the app, I see quite a few people with unverified accounts using my name (my name is pretty uncommon so please don’t think I’m being delusional), which I find bizarre. I have also reported those accounts
If anyone has experienced this or knows how to resolve whatever is going on, I would appreciate any assistance! I have already reached out to customer support, but I’m not sure how fast they will get back to me.
UPDATE: I’ve looked into seeing if this is all part of a brushing scam, and when looking at the doll clothes sellers account, my impersonator never left a review or anything.
