Advice for picking my next adventure

Hey all,

Little backstory: I was there when it all began, Pokemon Blue/Red on the Gameboy (Color), then Pokemon Yellow, followed by Pokemon Silver.

Then there was the release of the Gameboy Advance and since I never got one I never played the Pokemon games on that platform. Somewhere I got a Gameboy Advance SP and played Pokemon Leaf Green. Everything in between Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Leaf Green, I didn't play. Same goes for everything after Leaf Green.
Fast forward, I played Pokemon Go during the hype for maybe a couple weeks.

Super Fast forward to a couple months ago, I had nothing to play, waiting for a new release so I decided to give Pokemon a go again. I was certain I wouldn't be able to get back into it, I mean all those new Pokemon, new evolutions, baby Pokemon and those weird mega evolutions I had heard about.

Anyway, I went to the game store and talked with the guy there and after some talking I went home with Pokemon Legends ZA. It didn't take me long to get hyped and be fully invested again.

So, now I finished the main story, though I still have some post game content to do. I already bought the Dimensions DLC.

But, now I want look for a new (old) adventure, and I'm turning to you guys for guidance.

So in short, I've played:
Blue, Red, Yellow, Leaf Green, Legends ZA.

I also borrowed Arceus and tried it a little and will definitely play more of it.

My question is, after playing Pokemon Legends ZA, which game would you advice?

I've looked into Scarlet and Violet and then read Sword and Shield are better?

Extra info: I learned about Pokemon Home and really got into that and started playing Pokemon Go again. I love the concept of Home as a hub to collect all Pokemon and their different forms. I really like that synergy(?). I love to collect and explore as a gamer, so this concept is amazing to me.

Anyway, sorry for the long story and I'm really looking forward to the comments!
