Hi all. I saw a post for the rehoming of a crested gecko, there weren't many pictures but I had been wanting one so I inquired. When I got her, the tank didn't look great but not terrible (not cleaned and had carpet). But she looked good from what I could tell, no missing toes or stuck shed and looks to be a good weight.

Attached everything that was given to me with her.

Also attached a picture of how it is in quarantine now, I washed the tank with soapy water then sprayed f10 and left outside in the sun to dry I threw everything away minus the mossy hide and the vines. Does it look ok?

Then a picture of the tank I'll switch to after quarantine (and I'll basically throw everything away and get new hides, etc). I'm thinking of getting the kit from the bio dude. I won't be going full bio but definitely want the substrate and the drainage things, etc.

A few questions:

I'm in southern California, it's pretty hot, so I don't think I'll need heat (unless at night if it goes below 65?) IDK what kind of lights they included, but I feel like the red light is a big no no.

I put her on paper towels, and put a small container with sphagnum moss with another hide. Do I just mist the paper towels and the moss to keep the humidity up? And change both every month?

She seems kinda feisty and after getting her I inquired with the previous owner and they said she's not very tame but would sometimes let them touch her belly and eat worms out of their hand. So sounds like I'll just need to build that trust.

Also, when would be a good time to take her to the vet? I am planning quarantine for 30 days and then will move her into the space with my other reptile since the room i currently have her in right now won't be available.

I have a leopard gecko so the care for this one is slightly different, but I'm hoping they can eat the same feeders (plus crestie will also get CGD rotated).

Thanks for your help!
