Want to ask her out. Should I give her an easy way to say no?

Hey everyone, this is about a friend of a friend, I think we’ve been kinda flirty for a while but I’m not 100% sure and don’t wanna overstep.

Last night we were out drinking with our shared friend. We were taking about our favourite restaurants and when she mentioned hers I was like „that’s sounds awesome, please take me there some time“ and she said yes, of course. Now I was serious, but I’m not sure if she just agreed to be polite or if she also would like to go together. I want to text her again and ask her to go. The question I have is whether I should be like „only if you really want to, please say just say no right now if you don’t really want to“ or whether I should just ask her straight up? I kinda feel like the first version would be better in case im just imagining things, but then again it also feels like I’m undercutting myself. Any help is welcome! Thanks!
