Should Tiered Loot return?

In the inevitable D3, they're gonna have to ask themselves whether or not a lot of system additions should stay or go. Stuff like Crossplay, Transmog, Fireteam Finder, and a Free to Play option are must-haves, imo. Elemental keywords are right behind that, I think, though hopefully tuned down.

My question is about the big Edge of Fate rework though. Should tiered loot come back?

Before, the question was "Should crafting come back?", but it seems unlikely to happen given the recent direction.
