is it better to post on a character's birthday?

Is it appreciated to post a fic on their birthday? Or is it no different than waiting until later in the week?

I never do events, only just write when inspiration strikes and post when a chapter is done. But out of nowhere the smut demons possessed me and now I have a mostly-written part 2 that was not supposed to exist. but idk whether to lock in and finish that for an imaginary deadline or let myself wait until later.

For context, the birthdays are pretty big events in source material, so the fandom kind of dedicates an entire month to uplifting whoever's birthday it is. Which normally just means enjoying a lot of fanart for me and maintaining a random posting schedule tbh.
