Amazon SDE 1 (US) Onsite Interview Experience?

Hi everyone,

I recently received an invitation for an Amazon SDE 1 onsite interview in the US, and I'm trying to understand what to expect from the process.

If you've gone through the SDE 1 onsite recently, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience.

• How many rounds did you have?
• What types of coding questions were asked (LeetCode medium/hard, graph, DP, system design, OOP, etc.)?
• How heavily were Amazon Leadership Principles evaluated?
• Were there any surprises or areas you wish you had prepared more for?

I'm also curious about hiring trends for SDE 1 roles. Have Amazon recruiters been actively interviewing SDE 1 candidates for a while now, or is hiring just starting to ramp up again recently?

Any insights on timelines, interview difficulty or offer outcomes would be extremely helpful.
