Why have other players not come close to playing their entire career as Mets in the same way Wright did?
Until 2026 I would’ve figured Brandon Nimmo was going to end his tenure as a lifelong Met…and that’s the only one I would have ever considered.
Also just as far as league wide…less players are sticking by their teams…
The only player guaranteed to retire with their team as of now is Mike Trout…
Is this just a changing league-wide attitude?
