Notice of motion to reopen with intent to deny - Oath ceremony cancelled
Urgent question: My application got approved and I passed my interview and was told to just wait for the schedule of my oath ceremony. A week after the interview I received a mail saying that I didn't answer question 17.h which says "Upon review, we noted that Question 17.h on your Form N-400 was left unanswered. In order to complete adjudication of your application, USCIS requires a clear response to this question. Please provide the following: Your answer to Question 17.h "Have you EVER made any misrepresentation to obtain any public benefit in the United States?" as “Yes” or “No.”
I believe that this question was asked by my interviewer and I did also answered it when I file my online application. If not I'm pretty sure the system would flag it and it wouldn't able to let me file if there's any unanswered questions. I called the service hotline as soon as I saw the email today and was told to seek for legal advice. I'm a broke college student and I got my green card from my mother who petitioned me to get here. I was just wondering what's my next step since I know I have to get a lawyer now to get this resolve. I also don't know how I can provide a response before the due date if the service hotline for USCIS can't help and I can't go to any FO's to provide an answer for this missing question. I'm quite stress about this whole situation since I've file for citizenship since last year and thought I'm almost done.
