Bedrock Server Safety
I've been wanting to make a minecraft bedrock server for me and some friends who play on consoles to play on, and I made it using the official server download and one of my old pc's that was laying around, but it only works for people in my network.
I know that's how it's supposed to be, but in order to make it work outside my network, I have to port forward. My dad won't let me do this because of cyber security reasons, and I don't blame him, it's dangerous. I've tried looking into other options to see what would be safer, and I found playit.gg.
My dad doesn't like the idea of this either, and won't let me do it. While it masks my IP address, it still just sends things in through the playit.gg servers, not really protecting anything. And it gives playit.gg more control over my system.
Basically, that's not an option either. What's something else I can do that would be as safe as possible so me and my friends can play together?
