Likelihood of pods paying parking fine?

Unfortunately pods flaked on picking up my pod today. Unbelievably frustrating series of phone calls about that!

The main reason I am so stressed is in my city pods are only allowed to be on the street for 5 days which is up today. No way to renew the permit. Parking enforcement is pretty strict around here and I'm expecting a ticket.

Anyone been through this before? Advice on how I can get pods to reimburse me? Or am I going to end up getting my credit card company involved?
