Hey everyone, I'm the CEO of Bolt Pharmacy. My name is Richie.

A bit about me =

• I'm 31yo male, grew up in Nottingham, studied Econ + Stats at Cambridge
• Graduated 2017 then built an AI company with the UK govt working to improve traffic congestion, solid it in 2019: https://www.theguardian.com/business-to-business/2018/apr/27/meet-the-startup-on-a-mission-to-eliminate-traffic-jams
• Moved out to San Francisco in 2020 to build an AI company
• Had binge eating disorder 2013-2019, so in 2020 started a mental health company for men with binge eating: https://www.businessinsider.com/fella-technology-technology-app-eating-disorders-richie-cartwright-2020-12
• Pivoted that to GLP-1s in 2021, initially focused on the US market. Grew in the US then took on Bolt in 2025 to accelerate Bolt's UK work

We are doing lots of things well (serving >100k UK patients), and we can improve on lots of things.

I am always super open to feedback.

I am undoubtedly very ambitious and very intense. The work we do within the company is very difficult. We do it so we can serve you excellently, and do that at scale. Our goal is to provide excellent healthcare at the lowest possible price.
