Neighborhood Recommendations

Looking at a relocation to SD for a job. Office is in Downtown SD. I’m looking for neighborhood recommendations, budget probably around $2200 a month. Single person, no kids so not worried about schools or anything. Mainly focused on 1) safety, 2) in budget, 3) commute time to DT.

If living DT is my best option, I’m open to that as well, just want to know where to look.

Pay would be 100K. If living alone on this pay sounds like a pipe dream, please tell me 😅

I’ve read about how expensive it is, but I would be coming from another expensive city where I’ve been living on less $ rather comfortably. Want to get the full picture before I make a decision.
