Suzuki and the availability of SV650 in ~3 years' time

So I'm planning to buy my first bike and get into the hobby in about 3 years' time, when I am going to have money set aside to buy it plus gear and other things. At the moment I'm looking at the SV650, Honda CL500 and Kawasaki Z650RS as the ones I like the most, but I have a couple of questions about the former.

1. In a recent video I heard a prominent bike YouTuber say that Suzuki "might be doomed". Is there any context to this, or is it the community's inside joke or something?

2. How widely available would you expect the SV650 to be in 3-4 years' time? Does anyone know if Suzuki have indicated whether it will still be produced by that time? Obviously I could buy used, but I don't know how the availability of that would be in my area.
